Entergy Texas - Deposit Confusion
Last week I signed up online for Entergy at one address and then today via customer service moved the service to a different address (we chose a different apartment). My first "confirmation email stated a $30.00 deposit and $20.00 connection fee".
I want to emphasize the word Confirmation. Today I called customer service to change the address to the new apartment. I was sent an email "confirmation stating a deposit of $190.00 and a $20.00 connection fee". Why in one week did the deposit change $160.00?
I called customer service again to inquire. I was given a deposit of $150.00 with a $40.00 connection fee. I wonder if I called back what my third deposit amount would be. Crooks!!
This electric service is the only one in the Conroe area, so they can do what they want.Reliant, TXU any other service does not do business this way.
